Dehlia is doing great so far. She does not possess a great deal of fear! She was enjoying what scenery she could see from the truck on the way home, and then has explored the house from top to bottom already. She does hiss at Nate, but then will turn around and run underneath of him. She's a little daredevil. *G*

So far she hasn't eaten or used the litter box, but hopefully today she'll settle down and eat. Right now she's curled up on my leg, which does make typing rather an adventure. hehe. She has a beautiful little purr, too. Yay!!!

How does Nate feel about the new family member?

All the outsider articles on LJ really have me concerned. A lot of people seem to be saying it's going to collapse. I'm not sure where I'll go if it does.

I hope to have pictures to share soon! Took some today, but will have to get them developed and then online. :\

Nate is pretty good with her. He's curious about her and is good about not chasing her or anything. He would very much like to eat her food, though! We're careful to give him a lot of extra attention so he doesn't get resentful of her.

I know it - me too. I have heard a lot of people say good things about Insane Journal (which is funny considering your most recent post), and have started a journal with the same name there. At the moment I'm just planning on posting mirror entries there. Greatest Journal is another option. I have mixed emotions about the whole thing because I love LJ, but what they've done lately has really tarnished them in my eyes.
