I love watching nature shows, but sometimes they're so sad. Tiger died. :(
Then...commercial comes on...and it's The Crocodile Hunter bebopping along after snakes...turns the corner and there's a ticked off CHEETAH! Whoo! I think it's tonight's episode, will have to catch that and see what happens. The preview looked pretty wild!
Went over the hill this morning...three hours! Got to go down the trail that I haven't had time for this year, and am now naming it Hawk's Trail, cuz it appears that they're nesting on the next hill over from there. So very cool!!! Didn't spend much time down there because I didn't want to bother them, but later she or he was following us and screeee'ing, hoping that either we or s/he would scare up some small animals. lol. Didn't see it dive, but it sure was awesome to get to see it so close!
Before that though, we went and explored an off-trail further up the 2nd logging trail. It was fun to see some new territory, though I have now taken note that if you have to touch the ground with your hands in order to GET UP a part of the trail...coming back down is really not much fun. *G* Ended up just sitting down and scooching down, because I so did not want to tip over and fall down instead. lol. Live and learn!
Anyway, had a very fun morning. I'm ready to crash...the dogs are already snoozing. *G*
