Watched Queen Christina tonight. My sis's been renting Greta Garbo movies, really enjoyed this one, though it had a sad ending. Gorgeous Andalusian in it, too. Yay!

Went hiking with the dogs tonight....ran into a family of skunks. O.o The dogs got excited when they saw them and developed deafness.....couldn't get them away before the skunk charged them and...well, you know what happened. Nate got it worst....yellow gunk on his neck. Ewwwww. Reeeks. I thought I had tomato juice on hand, but of course, did not. Tomato soup seemed to have helped an eeensy, teensy tiny bit. Maybe. They're sleeping outside tonight, at least, though. :( Thank goodness it's a warm night.

Anyway...does anyone have any remedies that work better than the tomato juice? That's the only one I know of...and will be picking some up tomorrow. :o)

Other than that it's been a pretty quiet day. YAY. Got a lot of stuff done. Staying ahead of the preauthorizations at work, thankfully. Barely staying ahead of the phone calls, to follow up claims, though. Maybe next week I'll catch up since we won't have the two hour meeting to mess it up.

Hiking tomorrow...not taking the dogs the first time, especially with tonight's snafu.

Try this for skunk odor removal. It sounds less icky to me than tomato juice (of course, I have a bit of a tomato phobia, so...).

A quart of hydrogen peroxide?? O.o If it's not gone tomorrow, then I'll try that, after going to the store. I don't have that much H.P. on hand. lol.

Thank you so much for the link! And...dare I ask about the tomato phobia? I'll attempt to not mention tomatoes too often in my journal, but I've got two plants so can't promise not to mention them at all.... ;D
