Saw Lilo & Stitch today and loved it! Cried in spots and laughed like a loon in others. Was an awesome movie! Must buy it when it comes out!

(speaking of that, why is laughing like a loon such a common phrase? because I was listening to one on the bird page yesterday, and it doesn't sound like any laughter I've heard! lol.)

Officer and a Gentleman is on now...never seen it the whole way through. lol. I don't know his real name, but Officer Marsh from High Incident is in it! I still am ticked that they dropped that show after the first season, it was an awesome show!

loons have two basic calls. one is a sort of slow, mournful warble, which you probably heard. the other is a cross between that and woody woodpecker, hence the saying.

we had some living on the lake i used to go to in maine when i was a kid. until my voice changed, i could carry on a "conversation" with them :)

Oooh... I'm glad that you got to see Lilo and Stitch! SUCH a cute movie! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who cries during movies. :-) Yay for cute little blue aliens!

I'm apparently a sucker for cute lil' blue aliens! And big ones too, going by The Tick above...LOL. I get all sniffly at movies, and touched by silly little things. It is nice to know others do indeed do it as well! *hugs*

LOL. Elvis Stitch was awesome! Loved the little mirror ball effect of his costume when they were on the beach too. Such a cute movie!
