Only two more days left this week. Whooooo. And the best news for tomorrow is this: It's Sharon's day off, and I'm all caught up on the current P/A's today, therefore, no more tomorrow! So I can get caught up on my phone calls and such that are clamoring for attention. YAY! YAY! YAY! I never in my life thought I'd be so happy to be on the phone, but it's really starting to bug me that I'm falling so far behind in that section. lol. AND today we got the new doctor into the system so we can print actual schedules! SO MUCH better than the handwritten ones! Hallelujah!
And then it's Friday, which of course is a fantastic day just because. *__*
Ate lunch in the little parking area/park today. The blind guy who walks around ALL over town (you'd never know he was blind except for his white/red tipped cane, cuz he walks super fast and seems to know where he's going...) walked by...with a gorgeous harlequin great dane!!! He didn't have an actual harness, though, so I don't know if he's a dog he's had trained, or if he's petsitting for someone, or what. Cuz he had the leash hung over his left shoulder, but was holding onto the dog's collar with his right hand. The dog was amazingly sweet and just walked right next to him, no hyperness or anything. Was just really cool to see such a gorgeous dog, and wonder what the story was behind all of it. *shrug*
In other news, I've almost talked myself out of doing the Sisters hike next month. I don't have anything purchased except for my backpack, really. And the other three women who are going are fantastically inshape people who workout ALL the time. I am improving lots, but am by no means in their league. I'm terribly afraid I'd be such a drag in that sense, and don't know that I'm quite up to dealing with the negative emotions I'd feel, even if they didn't exactly. So between the money issues and that, I'm not sure I'm going. I may have to wait until next year, but at least we're planning on doing this annually, according to the signup sheet. Sooo.....hhrrrmmm.
I wish I'd remembered to bring some of my scrapbooking stuff over here, but I forgot. Ugh. Must do that this weekend.
