ergh

Slept in this morning and now it's already 9. Aarrggh. Oh well...think I'll still take the dogs hiking. Gotta sneak past the arena, as they're roping this morning, so it'll only be Nate and Rocky and me today. Oh well. C'est la vie. I'm away. Whooo.

The hike this morning went better than my level of enthusiasm thought it would. Whew. Took the clippers with me this time and cleared the path of some of the blackberry bushes. So, can go back to wearing shorts again and not have to panic about getting caught in the berries bushes by the bees....heh. And the berries are now actually starting to turn black, so the bees will be out in full force any week now. (Don't worry, there are still PLENTY of berries along the path, over the path, and along the path, and everywhere else...the good thing about that is hopefully in a week or two, I'll be able to pick some berries for some crisps. YUM. Shall freeze some this year, too.) Anyway, it actually made for an excellent arm work out. They're sore. lol. Next time I decide to be industrious with the clippers, need to get an earlier start in the morning cuz it was pretty darn warm today.

Nice test for the a/c though--the house was quite cool at 4 when I left, and we had turned it down around 1 even. So, yay!!!!! Absolutely excellent news.

Hmm. I'm off to enjoy a little trip down Nostalgia Lane...Spin has the Metal Issue out now. Guns N Roses, Poison, etc....LOL. I loved them to pieces. ^__^

ROFL!!!! I cannot imagine Celine knowing the lyrics to that song, much less *singing* them! Hahah! I may have to attempt to stand the rest of the show simply for that amazing feat if they ever repeat it. (You know this will be the ONE thing VH1 never repeats! LOL)
