I went to ebay simply to see if now was a good time to sell some of my models...whoops! evilbay, indeed. *G* But, it does look like now is a good time so I need to get organized and get some up for sale. Makes me sad to get rid of some of them, but I do dearly need the space and the money. We shall see how it goes, I've only been a buyer on there before.

Date: 2002-06-07 10:15 pm (UTC)From:I don't mind you asking! I got my pinto Bowie resin off the list...I LOVE him! He's so sweet. And no, I'm not selling any resins...I'd rather sell half my herd at $10 a pop to good homes than get rid of any of them. LOL. They're *so* expensive, I dearly have to love them to get them!
I went slightly (Okay, a lot!) insane last year and splurged on several resins. Bought the Bowie, a lovely chestnut SM Friesian (I forget right now which resin name he is...arrgh), and a gorgeous, gorgeous chestnut Bear drafter. (Evilbay! Those last two. LOL) I need pictures of all of them still, though, went into a showing slump after spending a small fortune on the horses! lol. Nuts. I "bought" an adorable TB resin too, but I still haven't heard back from her on her readiness....will have to write her soon, because it's been almost a year, I think. :(
Anyway, I can't sell any of them. lol. I do understand what you mean about selling some of your more 'showeable' ones - they're flashy and fun and catch your eye, but they're not the ones that always stick in your heart. :o) I absolutely love my mustangs and can't bear to sell many of them, even though they're not necessarily that 'pretty' or whatnot. They've got character. And I absolutely love the classic TB's - my favorite is Swaps. And the USET horses, even if they're not technically in the group you first think of as the TB's...you know? hehe.
